We are a team of engineers and researchers that are passionate about automating healthcare.
We met at an entrepeneurship competition back in COVID times and have been innovating together ever since. With the financing we won from that competition, we started our entrepreneurial training at Venture Lab Groningen, and later launched Aevai Health.
As researchers, we understand the rights that patients and other stakeholders have to their data. We stay up to date with regulations to ensure that we deliver high quality safe products and services.
We craft medical chatbots to be a buddy, a helpful companion for patients. We strive to improve health literacy and accessibility. We believe AI can help patients recieve medical attention anywhere, at any time.
We aim to impact clinical care and research by building sustainable products for practice. We involve you in the development and implementation process, to ensure we create a solution that will save you time and cost in the future.
I am a biomedical engineer and I love implementing AI products in healthcare. My entrepreneurial experience includes Draper University (San Mateo), Venture Lab North, and joining the international Sigma Squared and Voyager founder communities. I am finishing my PhD at RadboudUMC in AI & Lung Cancer and I have previously worked in project management and R&D roles at Thirona, UMCG, Philips, and Cymo BV.
Fun Fact: I love travelling, I have visited 40 countries and plan to visit many more!
I am a researcher in chemistry and I am passionate about bridging collaborations between academia and industry, and bringing innovative ideas to the application phase. My entrepreneurial experience includes Venture Lab North and the Philips Innovation Award. I am finishing my PhD in Chemistry at University of Groningen, with a focus on methodology development and sustainability. Previously, I worked at Symeres (CRO for the pharma industry) on the research and development side.
Fun fact: I love walking and discovering the nature around me – I even walked the Nijmegen 4Daagse in 2024 which is the biggest marching event in the world.
I’m an embedded, AI, full-stack engineer who loves building impactful AI products. After relocating to the Netherlands, I pursued my BSc and MSc in AI. My professional experience includes roles as a product owner and software engineer at a Dutch scale-up, marXact, and as a full-stack developer in two Italian companies. I’m a passionate self-learner who enjoys tinkering with Arduino projects and developing AI-powered applications in my free time.
Fun Fact: I used to be a member of two rock and jazz bands during my college years!
I am an AI student at the University of Verona with a background in Biomedical Engineering and I joined Aevai Health as an Erasmus intern. I am passionate about applying machine learning and medical robotics to enhance diagnostics and patient care. Initially drawn to medicine, I realized that technology could play a crucial role in reducing medical decision errors and enhancing patient care. This led me to explore AI’s potential in diagnostics, automation, and medical imaging, where innovation meets real-world impact.
Fun Fact: I once considered studying literature! Even now, I enjoy storytelling as a way to explore ideas, much like AI.
